Important Information
- The Canada ETA is mandatory for visa-exempt travelers arriving exclusively by air.
- Your Canada ETA will be valid for up to 5 years, allowing multiple entries into Canada.
- Each visit to Canada with an ETA permits a stay of up to 180 days.
- You may use the Canada ETA for tourism, business visits, educational travel, or to visit friends and family.
- Please note that the Canada ETA does not authorize employment or any work-related activities.
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned arrival date in Canada.
- Use our convenient Visa Checker Tool to determine whether you require an ETA to visit Canada.
- Children traveling to Canada must also obtain their own ETA.
- Visa-exempt travelers transiting through a Canadian airport are also required to have a valid Canada ETA.
- Remember to carry the passport linked to your ETA, as it is electronically associated with that specific passport. If you renew your passport, you must also apply for a new ETA.
- We strongly recommend obtaining your Canada ETA before booking your flight to avoid complications.
- Once approved, please ensure that your passport number matches the one provided in your ETA confirmation email. Any discrepancies require applying for a new ETA.
- Globalmigrationadvisor.com is not affiliated with any governmental agency.
- Purchasing this service does not guarantee you the eTA approval.
